Final Annual Awards Trip – Summer 2013

This summer, our 2012 Annual Award winners will embark on the final Partner Program Annual Awards Trip.

Rather than simply rewarding the top nine performing Partners year after year, we've adopted a "something for everyone" approach to offer greater value to a larger number of contractors.

Last fall, we completely re-designed the Partner Program to allow Partners to spend their points on whatever they want, whenever they want – without co-payment. For example, our standard Business Support Materials can now be individually tailored with products and messages targeting specific groups of potential customers, and eligible items are now reimbursed at 100% rather than 75%, provided the Partner has accumulated enough points.

We've also introduced a new line of promotional items, partnered with popular brands to bring you high-quality apparel and added a wide selection of gift cards from leading retailers.

We're truly excited about these new Partner Program features, and the dramatic increase in Partner Point claims and redemptions shows us that many Partners are too.

  • Provide or confirm your preferred email address – 30 Points (The Partner Program will use this address for future email correspondence)
  • Follow us on Twitter* and provide your Twitter account name – 10 Points
  • Like us on Facebook* and provide your Facebook account name – 10 Points

How to Claim Your Partner Points:

The online claim form can only be submitted once, so we strongly recommend that you set up your Facebook and/or Twitter accounts (click here for tips) and determine your preferred email address in advance.

To access the form, log in to your Partner Program account and click on the appropriate tile. Follow the instructions on the form, taking care to enter your information accurately – this speeds up the verification process and ensures you receive future emails from the Partner Program.

You should see a confirmation message on your screen after submitting your information. Partner Points will be credited to your account once your email and social media information is verified. Please contact the Partner Program for any subsequent updates or if you encounter any issues when submitting your form.

While we encourage everyone to join us on Twitter and Facebook, only one email, Twitter and Facebook account per company will be eligible for Partner Points.

Twitter, Facebook and other social media have become important online tools for networking, marketing and staying informed on issues that affect your business and the heating industry. With social media, you can actively participate in online discussions, share web links and post photos. If you're not interested in participating in online conversation, you can simply use social media as a convenient source of timely, relevant information – your own personal newsfeed – instantly accessible from your computer or smartphone. Best of all, social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter are absolutely free!

Twitter

A Twitter message or "Tweet" is a brief message of 140 characters or less. You can "follow" a person or company to receive their Tweets. For example, if you follow the Viessmann Partner Program, you'll receive Partner Program Tweets through your Twitter account. A typical Tweet from the Partner Program might announce a special Partner Promotion or provide a link to information about a new product. You can see the latest Partner Program Twitter activity on the Partner Program home page.

Once you've signed up, you can post Tweets for people who follow you, respond to Tweets and use advanced Twitter features. You can also search for key words to see what other people or organizations are Tweeting about and follow them too!

Annual Awards Winners visit Germany and the Czech Republic

November 29, 2012

On August 11, 2012, the winners of the 2011 Viessmann Partner Program Annual Awards embarked on a six-day excursion to Germany and the Czech Republic.

The winners met up with their tour leader – Harald Prell, President, Viessmann North America – and his wife, Uta, at Frankfurt Airport. After checking in and enjoying lunch at Hotel Die Sonne in Frankenberg, the enthusiastic group spent the afternoon exploring the village's historic Old Town district.

On day two, the group enjoyed a guided tour of the state-of-the-art Viessmann Headquarters in Allendorf before departing Germany on an afternoon flight to Prague.

Among the highlights of a two-day, whirlwind itinerary for the Czech Republic were a guided walking tour of the capital city's cultural and historical attractions, dinner and dancing at Folklore restaurant, a tour of the Ruckl Crystal Factory and beer tasting at the Pilsen Brewery. On the final evening of the trip, the winners were treated to a private dinner cruise on the picturesque Vltava River.

Viessmann unveils enhanced Partner Program for U.S. and Canadian heating contractors

August 31, 2012

Viessmann Manufacturing Company Inc. is proud to announce the launch of a revamped Partner Program for independent heating contractors in the United States and Canada. Following the most extensive overhaul since its inception in 2006, the Partner Program offers a collection of new contractor resources and incentives, while utilizing online media to streamline Partner account management and engage the contractor community.

Partners begin collecting Partner Points with their first sale of eligible residential heating products, and earn points with each subsequent boiler, domestic hot water tank and solar collector installation. Points can also be earned by attending Viessmann Academy seminars and by linking a contractor's website to the U.S. or Canadian Viessmann home page.

Partner Points can be redeemed at any time for a wide range of business support materials, gift cards and branded apparel. Partner Points cover up to 100% of standard items including print, radio and direct mail advertising; signage, sales and promotional materials; website development; Viessmann and co-branded T-shirts; Viessmann branded coveralls and Carharrt Coats; and gift cards for popular U.S. and Canadian retailers. Partner Points can also be used to cover up to 50% of custom advertising items.

A new interactive website features a password protected area where Partners can manage their accounts online, submit claim forms, redeem points and access exclusive member resources.

New Partner Program Twitter and Facebook accounts connect the Viessmann Partner community and keep them informed with product news and updates on issues that affect their businesses and the industry.

To be eligible for the free program, a licensed, professional heating contractor must be recognized and certified by local authorities to install oil- and/or gas-fired appliances and be the owner/president of his or her own company. Eligible Contractors can sign up for the Partner Program on the website or by faxing, mailing or emailing a completed application form to any of the three Viessmann offices in North America.
